Japan Design Committee is pleased to present “My Favorite Design 2023” as the 782nd exhibition organized by Design Gallery 1953. This exhibition is a sequel to “My Favorite Design 2021” which was held in 2021.
Members of Japan Design Committee will participate in this exhibition, and will introduce “My Favorite Designs” selected from the stores and design collections adjacent to Design Gallery 1953 from their own perspectives, along with their comments on the actual products. The actual items will be introduced with their comments.

Message from Gen Suzuki, Gallery Curator

This exhibition presents “My Favorite Design” selected by members of Japan Design Committee, focusing on works from the Design Collection. This exhibition follows the theme that Yusaku Kamekura, who was a member of the Design Gallery at that time, and others planned for the first exhibition of the Design Gallery about 60 years ago.
It is a simple theme, but the designer’s ideas and personalities are condensed in “my favorite”. We hope you will enjoy the exhibition.
