This is an authentic kitchen knife for home use, made by knife craftsmen in Sanjo City, Niigata Prefecture.
This is a Tadafusa original, neither a Japanese nor a Western kitchen knife, with a design in which the blade is inserted into the handle by means of a mouthpiece. It is also made of antibacterial carbonized wood (patented), which is resistant to decay and feels good in the hand.
