Designed in 1954 as a chair to be placed in the entrance hall of a house designed by Kiyoshi Seike, it has been commercialized after half a century. The structure is reminiscent of the prototype of Riki Watanabe's masterpiece, the "Torii Stool," which reinterpreted the traditional material of rattan in modern design.
