The louvers at the top of the simple hemispherical shape are excellent. The light that leaks from it to the ceiling softly envelops the entire room. Even if you look at it from below, it is not glaring because of the underside cover.
It was designed by Danish architect Arne Jacobsen in 1959, and is still the starting point of lighting design as it approaches its 60th birthday.
