1932-1933 | Artek | Alvar Aalto
The legs bent into an L-shape and the seat are thick. The thickness gives the whole piece a richness. The legs are bent from sliced birch wood, giving the piece a delicate, carefully crafted feel not found in mass-produced products. This is a stool, but I would like to use it as a bedside lamp table or coffee table.
